Greenzo Energy India Limited, a prominent domestic producer of hydrogen electrolysers, has landed a significant order valued at ₹320 crore from Oswal Energies Limited. The contract covers the supply of Greenzo’s homegrown electrolysers along with Balance of Plant (BoP) systems for a 20 MW green hydrogen plant. Developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, the project marks a major stride in building out India’s green hydrogen infrastructure.
Collaborative Approach to Green Hydrogen Deployment
Greenzo will handle the design, production, and delivery of its high-efficiency electrolysers and integrated BoP equipment, engineered for scalability and cost competitiveness. Meanwhile, Oswal Energies will oversee engineering, procurement, and construction for the facility. Drawing on deep expertise in both conventional and renewable energy sectors, Oswal brings a proven track record in delivering complex turnkey energy projects.
This partnership is positioned to fast-track India’s clean hydrogen ambitions by pairing advanced domestic manufacturing with strong EPC capabilities. Greenzo continues to focus on offering comprehensive hydrogen solutions—including BOT models—while working with industries spanning chemicals, refining, and transportation. The company aims to help position India as a global hub for hydrogen innovation and production.
Leaders Share Vision for a Sustainable Future
Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Ratan Bokadia, Managing Director of Oswal Energies, stated, “This deal goes beyond a commercial agreement—it’s a bold move toward a cleaner energy landscape. Our collaboration with Greenzo reflects our investment in indigenous, sustainable technology that will fuel industries and reinforce India’s path to self-reliance in green energy.”
Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director of Greenzo Energy, added, “Our alliance embodies a shared goal of creating hydrogen infrastructure that is both efficient and scalable, supporting India’s net-zero goals. Together, with Oswal’s EPC strength and our cutting-edge technology, we aim to deliver a project that sets new standards for clean energy manufacturing in the country.”
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Oswal Energies has evolved from a small fabrication shop into a comprehensive EPC player, completing more than 250 energy projects across Asia, Europe, and Africa. Their portfolio spans gas processing plants, pipelines, and carbon capture facilities, serving major clients like Shell, ExxonMobil, ONGC, and Cairn Oil & Gas. The partnership with Greenzo underscores India’s drive to develop both domestic manufacturing and infrastructure for the emerging hydrogen economy.
