Greenfield Facility and Scalable Expansion
In the initial phase, Escorts Kubota will invest ₹2,000 crore to build a modern tractor plant, a dedicated commercial equipment unit, and associated infrastructure. Expansion beyond the first phase will be contingent on market demand and the optimal utilization of the Phase 1 capacity.
Strengthening Global Manufacturing and R&D Footprint from India
Beyond domestic production, the new complex is set to provide shared services supporting Kubota’s global R&D operations from India, reinforcing the region’s reputation as a rising global manufacturing hub. Formed through a 2019 strategic partnership between India’s Escorts and Japan’s Kubota, the company plans to manufacture tractors, engines, and construction equipment here, aiming to enhance cost-efficiency and market reach internationally.
