Emmvee Commissions Solar PV Module Plant Near Bengaluru

Emmvee, a leading Indian solar energy manufacturer, has announced the commissioning of a new manufacturing facility in Sulibele, near Bengaluru International Airport, Karnataka. The 4-lakh square feet plant significantly expands the company’s solar PV module production by an additional 2.0 GWp—bringing total module capacity to 6.6 GWp and solar cell capacity to 2.5 GWp.

The facility will play a key role in supporting India’s green energy ambitions and enhancing domestic solar manufacturing. Over 500 new jobs are expected to be created across engineering, management, operations, and administrative functions, strengthening Emmvee’s current team of more than 2,000 employees.

The new unit is equipped with state-of-the-art automation, advanced quality control systems, and is designed for high adaptability—capable of producing a wide range of module sizes and formats.
